Use a carving tool to scoop or carve away unwanted parts of the metal to create texture or shape. During the process, the engraver needs to concentrate, control the strength and speed of the knife, and carve out the pattern cleanly. Although similar hand-carved textures appear to be the same at first glance, the depth and speed of each knife are different, which imprints the emotion of the engraver.
