Silver One to Five
Lead by artist in residence Hugo Yeung, the silver jewellery workshop embraces the artists minimalist aesthetic philosophy. Participants will start with the hammered round ring to learn how to utilise basic goldsmithing techniques. They will then be able to move on and explore different goldsmithing techniques to create other types of jewellery, including rings, earrings, pendants, and bangles.
Hugo will share how to use simple silversmithing tools to give full play to the ductility and malleability of metal, integrate creativity and basics of silversmithing to create three-dimensional forms, embellished with different textures and patterns, and create exquisite and interesting jewellery works.
The workshop is divided into two parts. After completing the first foundational class, participants can freely join in creating the other types of jewellery.
*Participants are required to join the foundation class (Chubby Ring) before they can take part in other jewellery workshops.
**The above courses require reservation at least one week in advance.
